For the 6th time, almost 1,000 demonstrators gathered on and around Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Berlin on Saturday, May 2, 2020, to peacefully defend the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany and stand up for fundamental rights in times of the German measures against the coronavirus.
The people spent the afternoon in peace and meditation, despite bad weather and a massive police presence. Isolated riots could not dampen the non-violent peaceful resistance and the good atmosphere among the participants.
Also next Saturday at 3:30 PM the “Demo for the Federal Republic of Germany” will take place in a growing number of German cities.
